"Um Passado Presente" approaches the subjectivity of time and the capture of motion in Photography. This project creates a bridge between the early developments with the pinhole camera (Mo-Ti, Aristotle, Alhazen, Niépce, etc.), the studies of movement developed by Muybridge, the using of an electronic flash to freeze motion (Edgerton) and Cartier Bresson's decisive moment, while using modern film and electronic flashes. Is it possible to apply Bresson's philosophy as well as Muybridge and Edgerton's ideas using a pinhole camera?
